Event and Party Photography Waldorf Hilton Hotel London.

On Tuesday I spent the day and photographing the Vetex Conference at the Waldorf Hilton in central London. Vertex is a tax software company based in Philadelphia and has branches in the UK and around the world. Around 90 delegates from various industries attended the seminars and various breakout sessions held during the day.

Katharine Merry, the BBC Commentator, and athlete who won a bronze medal for the womens 400m at The Sydney Olympics pictured above, was their guest speaker. Katharine gave a motivating talk on her life and path to winning a medal, she shared some amusing stories and insights into getting where you want to be personally and in business.

The Palm room at the Waldorf Hilton is a fantastic room for photography as the room is full of natural light which meant I was able to take some good images of the Vertex delegates during the day and in the various breakout sessions held in the adjoining and rooms upstairs.

Party and Event Photographer London.

Last night Richard, my assistant, and I photographed the Hawaiian Tropicana Party at The Playboy Club in Mayfair central London.

About 700 guests attended the party and we took photographs of the guests arriving and during the event with the models (girls and boys) dressed for the occasion supplied by The Playboy Club. Shortly after the photograph was taken the prints were given to the guests nicely presented in hard black mounts, Photographs are great for the hosts to give their guests as a memento of the party particularly if they are a high end product.

Our Pop Up Studio service is a quality, high end party solution. We’ll supply all the silly props you want and even build you a backdrop or scene to fit your specification. We can also make instant prints customised to your specification to give to your guests during the event.

Event Photographer Bare Minerals at Selfridges London. | Mother’s day Cosmetics promotion.

Event and Product promotion Photographer London.

On Saturday and Sunday I photographed the Mother’s Day cosmetics promotion at the Bare Minerals counter in The Selfridges Department Store in central London.

The promotion was aimed primarily at mothers and daughters to have their make up done together. Many of the participants had seen the promotion on the Bare Minerals Facebook page or were passers by who had seen the Selfridges in-store banners. The makeover package also included a photograph which I was able to print out minutes later. The photograph was branded with The Bare Minerals and Selfridges logo and presented in a nice folder.

For obvious reasons I haven’t posted a photograph of a mother and daughter, but the image above shows the Bare Minerals counter and the branding I placed on the photograph.

Party Photographer London. | Sabrina’s 50th Birthday Party on the ‘The Golden Jubilee’ Party Boat London.

Party Photographer London

On Saturday evening I met up Sabrina and her 50 guests at Waterloo Pier next to The London Eye to board ‘The Golden Jubilee’ which is a party boat on the Thames. Despite some heavy rain earlier in the day it was a cold but clear evening, and for the hardier guests great views were had of the London skyline as we made our way up and down the Thames.

Sabrina’s friends and family had drinks to begin with and by the time we got to Putney bridge dinner was served and the guests took their seats. The boat turned around and headed east again towards Docklands.

After dinner Sabrina opened her presents and then they all went upstairs for dancing. The music had obviously been carefully chosen and the DJ did a great job at getting everyone to make good use of the dancefloor. We docked at 11.45pm back at Waterloo pier and the party was still in full swing when I left at midnight.

The photographs are now on my new portfolio website, they are password protected so only Sabrina and her guests can view them.

Event and Party Photographer Beaumont House, Old Windsor.

On Thursday my assistant Richard and I joined the Pumphouse production team who are the organisers of the The annual EDF B2B awards and dinner at Beaumont House in Old Windsor.

Richard and I set up our mobile studio and took photographs of the guests during the drinks reception. We then gave instant prints to the guests in a very smart branded folder which we had made up with the help of Pumphouse.

B2B is a division of EDF Energy, and they specialise in supplying energy to industrial, commercial and public sector organisations interested in controlling their energy costs and carbon emissions.

Once the guests went into dinner we photographed the rest of the event including the awards ceremony, the casino and the dancing later on. The awards were given to individual employees and teams who had shown exceptional performance throughout 2011.

The photographs were sent to EDF and the organisers 24 hrs after the event and the images will be used in their in-house publications, marketing and promotional material.

Launch Photographer, Stella McCartney Adidas range at Adidas Oxford Street, London.

Launch photographer London.

Last weekend Richard, my assistant and I were at the Adidas store in Oxford Street London photographing adidas customers wearing the new Stella McCartney range of London Olympics sports gear. The tops and sweat pants all show the Olympic logo and are designed for adidas to promote in the run up and during the Olympics in London. The range is high end, stylish and edgy, and looks great.

The Leeds based marketing company Intermarketing Ltd who look after this particular Adidas promotion have hired us for the instore event. We take a photograph of a customer or model in our mobile studio wearing an item from the new range and produce a 12″x8″ print. The print is then posted in the window of the store creating a huge montage of photographs. By Sunday evening the display was looking pretty impressive. We were in the store on Friday evening and Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

Event and Party Photographer Waldorf Hilton London.

Last Friday night I joined Paul and his family and friends in The Palm Room at The Waldorf Hilton in London. The theme was James Bond and everyone was wearing black tie, it was also clear from the moment I arrived that everyone was going to have a brilliant time.

I set up my pop up studio and the 10 or so children, particularly the girls made good use of it and I managed to get some lovely studio quality photographs of them in their pretty dresses. After the drinks reception Paul and his guests moved up the steps to the Homage Grand Salon Restaurant for a buffet and more drinks.

The DJ was excellent and the dance floor was full for most of the evening. I left the party at 11pm and I have put all of the photographs of the party in their own private gallery with a password, the page had 50 hits within about half an hour of publishing it. Paul will also get all of the high res photographs on a DVD.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Paul and his family and friends on Friday.

Event and Party Photographer Grange Hotel St. Paul’s, London.

On Thursday evening, coincidently Australia day, I photographed the launch of The Australia Unlimited iPad App. A number of prominent Australians and UK ceo’s connected with Australia were there along with 500 other guests who came to enjoy the event.

My job at this event was quite specific. I was to take a portrait shot of as many guests as possible and then produce a branded print for them to take away at the end of the event. Above is an example of one of the 300 6″x4″ prints I produced.

The event was great fun for the guests. The Divas from the west end show Priscilla played a couple of sets along with a few acts from the cast. Staff were mingling with the guests demonstrating the app on iPads and interviews were broadcast on a huge screen above the stage.

Event and Party Photographer The Lounge Odeon Whiteleys, London.

Last night I photographed the opening of The lounge at Odeon Whiteleys. The Lounge offers a fantastic “fine food and film experience” where you can sit in a luxurious first class airline style seat and enjoy food and drinks brought to you by restaurant and bar staff. The screens are small and intimate, the largest has 50 seats and the smallest seats about 30. The experience is great for a party or corporate event.

I took the photographs for Red Consultancy, the PR company managing the event who will use the photographs for promotional purposes.

I’ll be taking photographs again next week at another event at The Odeon cinema where a group of school children will see a movie.

Event and Party Photographer The Brewery, Chiswell St. London.

Last night I set up my pop up studio at The Brewey, Chiswell Street, London to photograph Nelson Bostock’s Christmas Party. The theme of the party was “The Movies” and they managed to combine an oscars style awards ceremony with a party afterwards.

The Guests and staff dressed up in the silly props I supplied and had their photo taken, above is one of photographs I took on the night. Instant prints were available for the guests to take away.
